OpenArena, the free FPS

I downloaded this just now.
Its got great graphics and is great fun to play.
Also it runs great on integrated.

I tried it just how you wanted. But it don't work for me. ;_;
Nearly 1 FPS, and I hear the clicking Sound in the Menu...like a Background Music. It repeats and repeats...without to stop. In the gmae itself I have 5 FPS(guessed). I tested it with Win 7 and Vista - same. Sad, I remember good old times with Quake 3 Arena....

You should tweak the graphics settings to suit your computer.
Also don't run anything in the background, if that doesn't work then go into the folder of OpenArena, select the .exe with the right mouse button and click properties.
Click on the Compatibility tab then change the Compatibilty to a lower operating system.

Well, 64 bit systems won't work with it. Yeah, hopefully they'll make a version that supports Vista, or Win 7. Otherwise, you won't be able to play it.

Just for the record, there's a 64 bit XP too.

I know. Again, I don't think OpenArena works with 64 bit machines.

You installed the 32-bit windows 7. Try it on that.
At least you told me you did.

Yes, I'm absolutley testing Windows 7(used it as normal OS, runs stable for me ).
Tips from the OO Forum don't work, not even a Tip to get OpenGL working on Win7 ;_;
